SINGER

Rebeca Sierra has completed five years of singing training under Silvia Luchetti in Madrid and C. Jhonson in London, on top of her training as an actor, Rebeca has followed vocal techniques from Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, Lecoq, Kristin Linklater, and Patsy Rodenburg.

 

She is Mezzo-Soprano, and her vocal range goes from C3 to B5 (belt to Bb4)

 

As a result of her training and experience, she is skillful in using her voice for singing and character work, having worked in musicals, theatricalising songs, bands, dubbing, live dubbing and, dramatised readings.

She is interested in songs that have strong storytelling and, genres such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, and folklore, especially where instruments as pipe or violin are part of its musicalisation. She is also tracing international musical folklore connected to their culture and history such as Kurdish, Egyptian, Southamerican or African roots.
